Terms of Service

Last updated: June 17, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SoFL CAMs website and membership platform, operated by SoFL CAMs, a division of BidMyCommunity, Inc. (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility & membership

The platform is intended for community association management professionals and those connected to the industry. Some areas require an active membership. We may review, approve, or decline membership applications at our discretion.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Payments & refunds

Where paid memberships, tickets, or sponsorships are offered, prices and billing terms are shown at checkout and processed by our payment processor. Recurring memberships renew until cancelled. Refunds, if any, are handled according to the terms shown at purchase or by contacting us.

Events

RSVPs and registrations are subject to capacity and any stated requirements. Event details may change, and events may be rescheduled or cancelled. Continuing-education hours and certificates reflect attendance recorded by check-in; verify your licensing requirements with the Florida DBPR.

Acceptable use & community conduct

You agree not to misuse the platform, including by posting unlawful, misleading, harassing, or infringing content in the member forum or directory, scraping data, or interfering with the service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as forum posts and profile details) and grant us a license to host and display it to operate the platform. You are responsible for the content you post.

Intellectual property

The platform, including its branding, design, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Third-party links & services

The platform may link to third-party sites and services (such as partner websites, news sources, and BidMyCommunity). We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The platform and its content — including any educational, regulatory, or vendor information — are provided “as is” for general informational purposes and are not legal, financial, or professional advice. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
